River of Life was founded in 1983 by Pastor David and Nolia Cordeau.  In 1983, David was finishing his studies at Bible College when God called him specifically to Kingston, NY to start a new church.  The church was started in the family's two-story house and the living room and children's bedrooms were used for children's Sunday School. River of Life grew over the next seven years as meetings were held in rented church facilities, a basement off Broadway and a store front on Lucas Avenue.  On one occasion, because a facility was not available, the service was conducted in a local park.  In 1990, God opened the door for us to purchase property that included 12 acres and a building which was renovated to host weekly services.

Over the past 28 years, David & Nolia have seen God do many great things at River of Life.  Many people have been saved and healed of all types of sicknesses.  Through their ministry they have seen many medically verified miracles which include the dead raised, blinded eyes, deaf ears opened, broken backs healed, crippled legs healed, AIDS and cancer(s) cleansed from the body.  They have also seen many people delivered from all types of bondage such as drug addictions and dependency on alcohol.

Over the past few years, while remaining pastor of River of Life, God has released them to spend more time in ministry overseas.  Each year they take at least one trip to  Asia to minister the healing and delivering power of God.  In addition to training and ministering to those who are in need, David & Nolia have started four churches in the country of Cambodia.

David & Nolia believe that God has freely given them a ministry of healing and deliverance, therfore, they spend much time imparting those gifts into others. People whom they have trained are Going Into All The World And Preaching The Gospel!
